School Snack Ideas with Honey!
Inclusion of Honey in the daily diet is an absolute must for high nutrition. The new-age kids need it more than ever because it is necessary to help them excel at multiple activities that they do.Honey is fun and most importantly, children love it. Any snack that is made using Honey besides being liked by your kid, is healthy. So here are a few quick snacks for school that you can make with honey to give your kid a dose of health and taste.
Honey Apple Nachos
Here’s a healthy twist to the favorite snack of everyone, Nachos. Slice one or two apples and pour honey all over it along with strawberry and other healthy toppings to make a quick snack.
Honey Peanut Butter (PB) Cheerio Bars
High in protein and extremely hard to resist are the tasty little bars made with honey and peanut butter. These are good to eat anytime. To make them, take ½ cup honey, ¾ cup peanut butter and 3 cups Cheerios. Line an 8×8 pan with aluminum foil and keep it aside. Cook honey and PB over medium heat and stir it constantly until it is completely blended and melted. Once done, stir the blended honey and PB in cereal and mix until it is evenly coated. Place the mixture in the pan and refrigerate for at least an hour before cutting into preferred size.
Granola bar Cookies
Cookies are simply irresistible to kids. Making these treats with granola bar and honey will be a great source of energy for them, not to mention how much they will love it.
Honey Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip
Honey, yogurt and peanut butter together make one delicious dip. Serve this dip along with apple slices to fuel your kid for an afternoon filled with fun.
Apple Cinnamon Cookie Energy Bites with honey
Treat your kid with protein-rich and absolutely lip-smacking cookie-like apple cinnamon bites by adding just a small tbsp. of honey.
